I was thinking this myself recently when I was looking at my wee calendar but I think it's cause you're meant to be punting your food waste into the brown bin along with your grass etc. So it's probably so your brown bin doesn't get absolutely howling.
I wish they would bring back 2 week collections on the green bin. We're always right to the brim like 3 or 4 days before collection. Pain in the arse. |
