| Comment | Like others have said about large parties and the cut off is usually 6, and I’ve always found that I’ve been told that on booking or that it’s on the menu. However I agree that adding it as standard on smaller tables is not ok. I’ve not had much experience of it and I have asked twice to have it removed (was paying by card and prefer to give tip as cash so they got it anyway, but was not impressed and did put a bit of a damper on it as the last thing that happened on a night out for dinner) |
