| Comment | Completely fair! It is stupid that hospitality is expected to get tips but retail staff aren’t. You deserve to be paid more money for serving food but not material goods? Doesn’t make sense to me either.
Don’t get me wrong, I did really appreciate the tips when I worked there but I wouldn’t take the huff with a table if they didn’t tip because it’s their choice! At the end of the day, they’ve paid for what they’ve bought and shouldn’t have to pay any more and I respect that. |
