A lot of places do mention on the menu for larger tables it will be added but you are right they should tell you.

Personally I dont always tip, I do when I can afford to. You might say I should always tip but I work in a nursing home, I get paid a little over minimum wage, as I'm not part of the NHS I dont get a lot of the extea bonuses and discounts that they get which I would if I just worked in a different place. I pay all my bills and taxes, as every member of society should and I fully support them getting paid better, as I think everyone who works a hard job should be paid for their hard work, I'm not in any way saying anyon deserves the current minimum wage, everyone deserves more. I tip what I can, sometimes thats between 10-20% but other times I dont because I can only afford the bill.
