| Comment | Yeah we do have a responsibility to decrease our carbon foot print as much as possible.
See for me this is where it gets interesting because if there is a genuine climate emergency and the only reason things like SUVs are being produced are “because people keep buying them” I.e just profits then it is completely up to the companies/ government to for once in their time put profits aside and focus fully on a climate change no matter what people are buying at the time.
It just seems so silly to say we are in a climate emergency but at the same time still have companies producing mass amounts of products which contribute to climate change solely for profits, if it’s that much of an emergency the main contributors of climate change should make real change and then in turn that would help motivate the average person to do what they can and or go a step further to help save the planet. |
