Depends. Often its actually not. Some vegan cheeses cost the same as dairy cheese or less. Asdas own vegan cheese is like, £1.50. Even Lidl has cheap vegan cheese now. You can get a block of tofu for £1.75 at sainsburys. The realistic meat alternatives are a novelty anyway, You dont *need* to buy them for every meal tbh.
