That may be to being a Black American with family that had to fight for civil rights because of other shitty Americans though. The 4th is just a chill day to eat good and swim. It's weird reading people on UK threads trying to fit in by being anti-america. Not saying that's what you're doing, but you'll find that in quite a bit of them.
