because it's nice once in a while to type the way you talk rather than end up typing a queens english version, also the contexts and tones are very different - compare for example 'what are you saying?' vs 'wit you sayin?' which have very different tones which come across differently. Ultimately using as much varying language as possible in text gets across more of the tone intended. Anyone who doesn't like it is just a snob whose ma n da didn't allow them to talk like the 'riff raff'
