| Comment | The wee dog was so upset by fireworks last year (and in the lead up this year) we are taking her away in the caravan this weekend, not too far from Glasgow just away from any settlements. Poor wee girl becomes a trembling mess.
I don't want to stop anybodies fun but I do wish they would restrict the sales of fireworks to a week at Bonfire night and a week at Christmas.
Around here we have had over a month of kids abusing fireworks. Even one banger causes the dog to flee in terror. What actual purpose being on sale for so long serve other than to cause nuisance and upset? If we could keep sales to a week then at least it would minimise the distress and the weans could still throw fireworks at traffic and prams. |
