Agree, everyone saying rent and housing are similar are talking nonsense. Edinburgh is much more expensive than Glasgow, especially considering the quality.
I find Edinburgh has less low-key yet good quality restaurants too, more likely to be a chain in Edinburgh. I blame this on the cost of rental in Edinburgh. I miss Glasgow too.
