Have to be honest, visited Manchester earlier this year and whilst I loved it, it made me a bit sad as Manchester reminded me of what Glasgow COULD be. Manchester isn't perfect but it has regenerated a lot of old, industrial buildings and it looks really impressive. Lots of previously shit districts, like Ancoats, are now thriving. So many of Glasgow's interesting or beautiful buildings are being left to rot.

I've since moved to Bristol and its kind of like a hybrid of Glasgow and Edinburgh, absolutely jumping here aswell. Glasgow has so much potential but in its current state, the main draw is the unique Glaswegian identity and 'Scottishness' of the city. With the heritage left in disrepair, it is very much a 'poor man's' version of Manchester or Liverpool.
