Comment | One of the problems for artisan bakers in Glasgow is that there is a social/community project which provides jobs to ex-cons (which is a good thing). They supply breast to a lot of restaurants, shops etc. But they can undercut any other baker severely (I don't know why exactly - maybe they have funding or don't run at a profit).
It's a great idea, but it has really made it difficult for anyone else to enter the market. |
