| Comment | So frustrating to see downvotes on this. You have people pissed off and laying on the horn because the bin men are picking up their rubbish and they just have to drive to work and more than likely will buy some sort of plastic encased food/drink, yet still point the finger at everyone/thing but themselves while moaning about climate change.
As an aside, I'm constantly in disbelief at the amount of single occupant drivers around as I am used to having to drive in Texas because our transport options were poor quality and few and far between. We had HOV (high occupancy vehicles) lanes that encouraged car pooling and people actually utilised it. I am loving not having a car here and really appreciate the options to get around (the bus services could definitely be improved though...), and I am so annoyed at the amount of cars in my neighbourhood...I live right by a train station.
Yes, I realise having a car is great for getting to more remote areas/areas that don't have a station nearby, but come on...
