| Comment | Most people think that, capitalists have a large interest in taking credit for improving peoples lives. In reality my grandad could buy a house in the middle of town and support a family on a blue collar wage, today people are commonly running around with 2 jobs and no prospect of ever owning their own home. People used to work far less and most improvements to peoples working life were very explicitly anti capitalist (ie unions and the labor movement)
