We provide the best soldiers in the army, helped the empire out over the last few hundred years industrially, invented most things that helped us become a world power I.e. steam engines, antibiotics, TV, telephone and so on.
Also there's a reason public sector spending is subsidised by the UK government....because we are part of the UK. I'd have thought that was obvious. |
