If I’m really honest NM lacks the community feel of, say, Giffnock or Clarkston because it’s much larger and everybody is working all the time.
The majority of homes have both adults working which means that they’re not around so much and so you’re less likely to bump into and chat to your neighbours etc.
I’m not sure how this will change with home working to be honest, but I can’t say I’ve noticed any marked difference.
Property moves quick in east Ren and so I’m not surprised that there’s been a lot of moves in your area. Mixture of people downsizing once their kids are out of the schools or moving to more scenic/costly homes in the area. |
