What a breathe of fresh air. I actually agree with what you've said here as well.
You're right. As average citizens it feels like we are barely hanging on. The cost of having a safe country, with so much free for us I.e healthcare and university etc is high. High enough that it exceeds the minimum wages we pay people and that it can't catch inflation.
We do need to encourage growth and new businesses to set up shop here. Personally it's an area I am not experienced enough in to offer up an opinion, but you are again correct, something does need to change. If we can create jobs, growth and innovative new technology we will start correcting the economic tumble we are taking and it will in turn hopefully correct the social problems itself. |
