| Comment | I don’t think it’s going to do too much. We seen it with masks - a lot of people didn’t care to wear them, were actually exempt or claimed they were because they weren’t allowed to be questioned and got away with not wearing one.
I imagine it’ll be much the same with the vaccine passports ‘my phone isn’t working’, ‘I can’t be vaccinated’ etc etc.
I was at a gig a while ago and needed the passport on my phone to get in - they looked at it for less than a second and said it was fine. Wasnt cross checked with photo ID and didn’t look at it long enough to know if it was actually the app or a screenshot I was showing them.
The people who are going to be checking this stuff never signed up for this, so I don’t blame them. But there’s too many ways around this for it to be effective PLUS being vaccinated isn’t proof of not having covid so I think it’s just stupid even though I don’t think it’s ‘too far’. |
