Not always, but Glasgow also has a very high number of jobs and job vacancies per resident, in the context of both the UK and most of Europe, as well as low levels of underemployment.

Really the only issue we have is long-term multigenerational unemployment as a persistent relict of the shipyard closures, and that's a basic social issue that has nothing to do with actual availability of work.
