>And the only way to stand out is to go all out, blindly following one thing and instantly dismissing anything anybody else does. It's why Brexit happened and it's why there's the Independence movement.

Thats not why brexit happened and it's certainly not why there's an independence movement. Brexit was the outcome of twenty years of targeted attacks by political parties, Labour included, on immigrants.

>Look at Scotland's councils, they're such a state because people think they're voting in an independence referendum when they go to the polls at a local election.

What councils do you mean in partuclar? If Glasgow, you just don't like them because it's run by the SNP and the reality is every Council is this country has suffered as a result of 10 years of austerity.

>People don't seem to have the time to follow what actually goes one, so we're left with 'Tories bad, therefore an independent Scotland would be good' which, obviously, is insane. It's like children being SO into Justin Bieber or something, and thinking everybody else should just DIE

I don't even know what this means, but the Tories are bad, there's no debate there.

>I'm sure plenty of people have plenty of good reasons for their decisions but the way it comes across online nowadays makes a lot of Nationalists look like screaming babies. "Bahaha! You don't support the SNP! you TORY!"

The thing is, you're the other cheek of the same arse. You're constantly slating Sturgeon, SNP, you've got a massive hardon for them, just like their fanatics have, you're no different.

>Nationalism in general is a pretty sensitive issue so when the voice of it comes across the way that it does, there isn't much of a difference between the anti-Englishness on display here and the straight-up racism that these kilted cyber-warriors pretend to despise.

Where is this anti englishness on display here? I don't see it. This tactic of trying to conflate wanting an independent Scotland with Anti English is just so fucking weak.

The problem for people like you, is that actually, the vast majority of independent supporters are actually like me. I've never been on an independence march in my puff, I think the SNP are ok but they leave me feeling a bit cold and I certainly don't crow about on twitter yelling how wonderful The First Minister is, most people think like that but that doesn't help you're weird obsession with the stranger elements of SNP fandom, you're just at the otherside of that, the exact same as those weirdo's.
