| Comment | Look into the history of Govanhill, it has been the landing point for immigrants from all walks of life for a long, long time. It's also been a deprived area for a long, long time. I live in Govanhill on and off from 1993 until 2019, the place seems to be undergoing a lot of change for the better.
As for post-Brexit, the EU settlement scheme was a thing.
It was my understanding that the child sex thing was bandied about by one or two racist nutters. But as you are not a racist, you most certainly wouldn't be perpetuating such a myth would you?
