Another vote for dehumidifier! Ours cost roughly £150 and it’s the best thing we ever bought. We have a Meaco - would recommend.
I also put bleach in a bucket, dipped in kitchen roll and stuck that to the worse areas round the windows. I think I left it on for a full day then cleaned it off. Seemed to help.
