Comment | Trust me, as an ex-employee, I can confirm that it is not rumours. I remember someone drove up and got petrol and drove away without paying. The owners of the garage ended up taking £50 out my wages that day to pay for this because is “was my fault”. I only earned £45 for that shift, so after work I had to pay them £5. I was young and stupid and had the mentality that the boss was always right so I agreed. In reality, it meant they got free labour for that shift and claimed the stolen fuel on their insurance. Bastards. |
