| Comment | I guess it's not great, but within the context of what's already there (a garage forecourt/service area with concessions) it doesn't seem that hugely terrible to me. I suppose it could increase cars a wee bit? But it's already a business set up to service cars. I get people think the owners are arseholes but that's nothing to do with the planning permission.
Having said all that, if it goes through then it establishes the planning principle of having a drive-through on site, which may be their long-term plan, i.e. turn the whole thing into a big drive-through site, which then makes it potentially more valuable land, which they could flog to Starbucks or whoever. |
