| Comment | Depends what you're looking for. Are you wanting a fairly chilled sit down meal where you can take your time and enjoy it or a quick in and out scran to maximise time for other activities?
If it's the former I'd definitely recommend Mother India or Meze Meze (probably lean more towards Mother India). If it's the latter you're looking for then I'd recommend Paesano (I say that because Paesano has a high turnover of tables so they pretty much want people in and out as quick as possible, the pizza is still absolutely cracking though). The only thing about Paesano is that it is walk ups only.
Another recommedation for someone casual and not overly expensive is Sugo, which is owned by the same folk as Paesano. Instead of pizza, it's a pasta and as far as pasta restaurants go in the city, it's the best value for money in the city. Unlike Paesano, you can book or you can just walk up, although if you walk up you'll need to wait outside for a table. |
