Comment | Being frank, match day is noisy and there is a problem with fans leaving litter around, but the police presence means there’s not really trouble. For people that can deal with it, Ibrox has a few benefits - still pretty cheap, there’s couple of decent pubs, a few nice places to eat (Cherry and Heather does lovely satay) and it’s really near Bellahouston park which is great for dogs.
That said, the street your on can make a big deal of difference on match day. I live in a side street in Ibrox, I would not want to live on say Copeland Road due to matches and marches as a lot of the more disruptive crowd congregate near the stadium and the Loudon - especially bad if the flat your looking at still has single glazing. |
