| Comment | Unless you paid a deposit on the current property you own, then the equity there is used to cover the deposit on the remortgage.
If you just purchase one property then almost immediately after decide to purchase a significantly more expensive property without gaining any equity (which is hard these days with house prices) then sure you may need to pay more for a deposit.
Not entirely sure "people buying multiple houses in quick succession" are the financially vulnerable we need to be protecting. |
