Your decision not to be vaccinated certainly affects others. You're more likely to end up in hospital, taking up a hospital bed that someone else might have needed. Our hospitals are already at breaking point.
The government literally passes rules that affect our lives all the time. Until the age of 18, I wasn't allowed into a nightclub. I have to wear a seatbelt. I can't smoke in public indoor spaces. Scotland has minimum alcohol pricing. I can't drive over 70mph. I can't buy alcohol from a shop after 10pm. I can't consent to fighting someone in my own home. |
