Places like Easterhouse, Tollcross, Shettleston and Barlanark are all still suffering from a reputational hangover from the 80's and 90's. Yes, a lot of it is still ugly as fuck, and yes, there are some small pockets that should still be avoided here and there and diligent recon should be done before moving in, but by and large, the east end of today is fine.
