And even then it was illegal. Can't find the source now, but there was some plan to sue Edinburgh Airport over that, but the Brexit happened so it's no longer relevant.


And yes, if down south (I guess you mean England by that) they charge up to 8 pounds, it's only beacause you guys accept such rip off. Let me remind you that Edinburgh Airport has started with 1 pound charge as well. It's not 4 pounds, and nothing happened that would justify quadrupling the price. It's just since people were going along with it, they started to bump it up.


So basically if people still think it's OK to charge someone for dropping off at the airport - which is a captive market, as it just happens that ALL THE ROADS around the airport have no stopping measures - then the companies will abuse that and squeeze public as much as possible.
