| Comment | Yeah Uddingston is a village in South Lanarkshire, over the years Viewpark/Birkenshaw/Tannochside started to use Uddingston because they share a postcode and Uddingston was considered more prestigious.
At least they’re close though.
But to claim Bellshill, Fallside and Baillieston is stretching it a bit.
Someone else on the forum called it perfectly, they said that when people called NLC where they worked saying they were from Uddingston they were told they called the wrong council area until they admitted they were from Viewpark.
To be honest I don’t see the point in it, fair enough the older houses in Uddingston are seen as quite prestigious but a lot of Tannochside is nicer than a lot of Uddingston.
If people want to pretend they live there for whatever reason it’s up to them.
I just don’t think estate agents should get away with lying about it. |
