| Comment | Still think that’s strange, understand they’re both close together but Viewpark is much bigger than Uddy so if anything you would have thought Viewpark would have enveloped Uddingston instead of the other way about.
Plus Viewpark has quite a proud history so really unsure why people seem determined to associate it with Uddingston for any other reason than they think it’s prestigious.
Think the fact it’s different council areas and there’s a Motorway in between them might have given the game away but hey ho..
Think Royal Mail have a lot to answer for with the postcodes, it allows estate agents plausible deniability as it has the same postcode as Uddingston.
But with that logic Bathgate (EH) could claim to be Edinburgh and Arrochar (G) could claim Glasgow. |
