Not meaning to be a dick so please don’t take this the wrong way but that’s where I was originally looking at a house so I had to check it out.
The School Catchments are Bannerman in Baillieston and St Andrew’s in Cranhill and Council Tax is paid to GCC.
It was actually they houses that pee’d me off enough to write this.
People will pay a premium fir those houses thinking their kids will go to Holy Cross School in Hamilton but they end up in a school with a much worse reputation.
It’s not to denigrate kids that go there, I went to a much worse school than that myself but just think it’s a bit underhand when the houses are clearly in Broomhouse and not Uddingston.
Understand about the postcode sharing but that’s just for Royal Mail logistics, means nothing about the area otherwise Arrochar would be in Glasgow too. |
