Postcodes do not define boundaries, it’s a depot code for deliveries.
The area you’re talking about is not in South Lanarkshire, Glasgow boundaries, Glasgow Council Tax, Glasgow Schools.
I don’t have an issue with the east end either, I grew up in a much worse area than Baillieston.
But some people do have an issue with it and like to pretend they stay elsewhere.
That does t really bother me, find it a bit sad but it doesn’t bother me.
What does bother me is that some people will be conned into paying a premium for a house because they think their schools, council, doctors will be in South Lanarkshire when they won’t.
Look at the price difference between that and the new houses at the other side on Baillieston, there’s a big gap but the areas are no better, school catchment areas are the same etc..
It’s just pulling the wool over people’s eyes. |
