| Comment | Might just be a generational thing, when I was at uni all the feminist groups preferred terms like female representation, female space, female rights etc. For example 'we need female space on campus, we need more female leadership'. Many didn't like the use of women, ladies or girls.
I know it's flipped now, but some folk might not have gotten the memo and they're actually trying to be politically correct. |
