| Comment | I am interested to see what happens when she does go, I don't think the current royals are seen in anywhere as high regard as she is and perhaps we could see them be pushed to the fringe/removed as head of state.
I've previously seen them as ever so slightly better than the idea of giving the Westminster political class another vector to control us if we did get a president, but in light of the way it's come to be public knowledge in the last year or so that Lizzie and her sprogs have had far more influence and input that they really should have I have completely turned on that.
The thought of a president Blair or Cameron still gives be the bolk though. |
