| Comment | It has everything to do with your role as a door supervisor. If you're happy to evicting vulnerable people without assisting them to locate a friend then that's wank behaviour. I get that it's a tough job mate, but don't absolve yourself of responsibility because you'd rather not think about what happens to the people you evict to walk Glasgow alone.
I never claimed to be a door supervisor so let's start with that. I bartended venues and often did my own KBs and escorting people off premise, or in venues with door staff I'd cut the patron off and if they refused to leave then that's when people like yourself got involved.
We all like a cheap drink, that's also not my point. Cheap drink encourages people to get loose which is totally fine, but as bartenders/door supervisors/license holders or whatever the fuck our involvement is with a venue, it's our responsibility to ensure they don't drink too much while doing so. We're meant to cut people off when they present as drunk, not later when they present as paralytic like Polo do. Despite what the other guy said in this comment chain, part of our job is unfortunately babysitting.
