Non-cooperative in what sort of way? Seems like you're building a bit specific scenario when I'm simply saying:

A) Polo should stop serving people to the point that they can't stand, speak, or keep their eyes open

B) If Polo insist on selling them drink until they can't stand, speak, or keep their eyes open, then don't throw them to the curb to fend for themselves.

The people I've seen chucked out of Polo often need medical attention they're that vulnerable and comatosed. Polo chuck them out because the only alternative is getting them medical attention, and that would eventually lead to them being shut down for overserving. They're breaking the law, and as license holders they are absolutely responsible for the state their patrons get into - it's part of the contract they sign to be a wet venue. They are partially to blame, as this is a situation they repeatedly enable and have done for years. They put money first and safety second.

That's great that you learned your lesson. I'm glad you lived to tell the tail, and hopefully your hairy situation didn't involve you getting raped. Unfortunately, some people aren't so lucky and they end up being assaulted before they have an opportunity to learn their lesson like you did.

As you said **trying**. It's one thing to try not the get into that situation again, but I'm sure I'm not the only one in this thread that's tried not to get smashed, then the drink hit them more than they expected. Everyone's alcohol tolerance is subject to change based on sleep, food, stress, drinking habits and so on. Part of a licensed venues responsibility is to assist people in avoiding becoming pure fucked and vulnerable.
