You missed my point.

People are convicted because they are believed to be guilty, if there’s any doubt they aren’t then they are acquitted. So that’s a 100% belief they did it. This is already the case.

Yet people are still wrongfully convicted.

If we brought in the death penalty we would kill innocent people. Would you be okay with the state killing you for a crime you didn’t commit just so they can kill others who have?
