| Comment | Ah ok, I didn’t start short then - I was on my intended route (Glasgow Central to London Euston) just didn’t get on the time my ticket was for.
The ticket inspector said they usually don’t care if it was within 2 hours of the time / if the train had been quiet but I was taking the piss a bit by going so early. Gave me option of paying full fare (which was about ~£150) or getting off at next stop which we were happy to do. |
