It might come as a shock for you but lots of jobs, can not be done from home. If there are more people, there is more need for services and everything else that this drags behind. The larger the population of a city, the more attention it is given to it. But please, feel free to keep your grim pessimistic vision. I am sorry your life is that way.
People moving to your city are not to blame for your income or lack there of. They are simply trying to survive just as much as you are. And while you are here moaning about immigration to your city, your MPs are having second jobs that pay millions while neglecting their first jobs, politicians that cut the fundings for councils, healthcare and universities. But please, you go ahead and hate on your new neighbors. Surely they have the power and control to change your life and if they have just stayed down south your life would have been peachy. Shame they found Glasgow on the map. |
