Depends what you’re looking for really, some areas of North Lanarkshire are nice with amazing transport links.
For commuting to Glasgow/Edinburgh you would struggle to beat it.
Obviously ER and ED are considered more prestigious if that’s the driver but it’s a bit of a myth that you’ll automatically have a better lifestyle there.
