Sure thing. My Masters degree was in Epidemiology (so in vogue right now). My dissertation was related to gastrointestinal infections and the changes in infectious patterns in relation to animal migration. Sounds a bit boring, but it was actually very interesting if I say so myself! Lots of coding and data analysis, but well worth it.
