If someone is polite to the GP receptionist and is met with rudeness can you then also understand why some people are rude to GP receptionists?
Difference is the GP receptionist is working and expected to show a level of professionalism whereas the patient is sick/ seeking medical assistance and shouldn’t need to feel like they are bothering people by asking for that assistance (which is certainly how I feel when speaking the GP receptionists). |
