I would check out indie shops - Wild Gorse Pottery (don't just sell pottery), Hell Yeah, Stephen Smith, and the wee shops down the Cooperage lane off Pollokshaws.
Not southside but can also very much recommend Welcome Home, Estd. at Barras Market and Spot Design Market for nice stuff made locally by artists/ makers for christmas :)
