When I used to live in the east end, one Saturday I was away down shop for a hangover roll and square. There was a Bull Terrier, off the lead and no owner in sight. It attacked a small dog and killed it (owner of a news agent beside roll shop, walking it while she got a moment to).

The dog (bloody muzzle) jumped up on a pram! We took the woman and child into the roll shop and shut the door. I left soon after ( parent safe in shop).

There was a guy walking a dog across the road. Myself and others shouted for him not to cross the green man. It was apparent there was a scene, bloody muzzle etc. He ignored us and his dog got into a fight with the Bull Terrier. Ofcourse they bit each other and wouldn't let go. (Can't recall other dog breed, 9 years ago).

I recall seeing folk try to get the Terrier off but to no avail. I can't remember how the separated, maybe exhaustion? (Mid summer). I recall water being given to the dog who crossed the road with the owner and refused to the terrier.

Why the fuck did that guy bring his dog across the road?? Endanger it and the other dog.

It turned out the Terrier was let out in the back garden and jumped it, if I remember correctly.

I was whiter than the egg on my roll when I got back to my Mrs.
