I understand the frustration! It may be more of the fact that you're international tbh. If you have no guarantors that are family in the UK, then you'll need to offer to pay 6 months rent upfront. I did this as an international student on a master's and was able to secure a one bedroom for myself. Other tips on here are incredibly helpful too!
