| Comment | I got engaged there, in front of a sellout crowd for Hayseed Dixie gig. I then threw up in the backstage bogs (a few too many shots of "Dutch courage" by well-meaning friends who were in on the plan...). Saw more bands there than I can count, both in the main hall and ABC2.
However, if it does have to come down - and let's be realistic, it's pretty likely - I'd love for some philanthropist to come in and outbid all the dodgy bastards who are waiting with bated breath, rubbing their palms together with the thought of more overpriced student flats... and who turns it into a little park or something. A bit of green space. |
