| Comment | Everybody in Glasgow and indeed any major town or city has seen people that appear to be from Eastern Europe in Scotland. Don't see anyone denying that here but what we are challenging is the idea that these people are operating of their own free will. The old grannies and teenagers you see in the street (who btw are Roma people, not Romanian, there is a difference) are not gangsters and the idea that they are is fucking hilarious but they are probably operating under exploitative gangs who brought them here under false pretences and are in all likelihood probably victims of people trafficking.
Instead of coming on a reddit forum to moan about beggars phone the modern slavery and report what's going on if you see it. I think someone else further up the thread posted the number. |
