| Comment | I had 4 or 5 15 minute appointments with a shrink over the same period of time. I was diagnosed as having brain damage last year. I was basically given a diagnosis right at the start of lockdown, no prognosis, then left to fend for myself all the way through until a couple of months ago when I started talking with a brain injury psychologist. The care I've been getting up here is actually slightly better than what I was getting when I was living in England. That's where it happened. I was pretty much ignored by everyone and every service I tried to engage with. It's been a rough 20 or so months. I've called charities and all that, but they don't have to help you, so they tend not to, when they hear from me. |
